Paeonia 'Lv Hu Die' (= Lü Hu Die)

type: [tree peony] – [suffruticosa group] – [rockii-hybrid] - [Gansu mudan]

To be called ”LvHuDie” in Chinese, with characteristics of white-green colored flowers, resembling a ball made of strips of silk in shape, 18cm×10cm corolla, having 23cm long and rigid stems for a yearly variety, flowers in mid-number and mezzo aroma while blooming with leaves being patulous upwards. The plant has general growing situation with half-erective posture, a few sprouted base stems and medium blooming period. It’s the traditional rare variety.

'Lü Hudie' Crown or globular form, white. often seen in Linxia, cultivated in Hezheng, Kangle and Lintao. Petal ends often with green blotches, so gets this named. It is also called 'LU Mudan' in Lintao. [detailed description available on page 136]
