MY HERBACEOUS HYBRIDS advance the peony season by two to three weeks, beginning here about May 12. The last of them, the Lobata hybrids, start in early June, with the great race of albifloras, and continue for two weeks, Japanese Tree Peonies usually bloom from late May on into June, when the Lutea Hybrids begin, followed at last by P. lutea itself.
SUPPLIES of these hybrids have always been short, and now that I am thinking of eventually closing they are shorter than ever. Kindly therefore indicate 2nd choices, and allow me wide latitude in substituting. I am always glad to select plants for you, within given budget any color preference. Every care will be taken
