Hai Tang Hong. Lotus form. Flowers 18cm x 4cm, deep pinkish red (52-D); petals 4-5- whorled, broad and large, entire and regular, fairly stiff, the outer ones and the inner ones of the same colour, fresh, soft and charming; stamens normal; pistils normal; floral discs deep purplish red. Stalks fairly long, straight, flowers upright. Flowering early. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches stout. Leaves long, medium-sized, horizontal; leaflets long ovate, obliquely ascending, acuminate at the apex, the margins slightly curved upwards, slightly suffused with purple. Growth vigorous, flowers many, flowering period long. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1991.
