Xiu Rong. Globular form or crown form. Flowers 16cm x 8cm, at first pinkish red, later pink (38-B); the outer and the inner petals of similar size, crowded, curved, stamens completely petaloid; pistils developed, petaloid, greenish coloured. Stalks stout, stiff, short, flowers lateral. Flowering late. Plant tall, partially spreading. Branches relatively stout. Leaves long, medium-sized, thick, stiff; leaflets long ovate, apex acute, the margins curved upwards. Growth vigorous; flowers relatively few, neatform. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1969. |
