Yu Hou Feng Guang. Rose form. Flowers 19cm x 7cm, pink faintly bluish (73-C); the outer petals 3-whorled, large, purplish red basal blotches; the inner petals soft, wrinkled, apex toothed, crowded; pistils small or sometimes developed, petaloid, greenish coloured. Stalks long, slightly pliable, flowers lateral. Flowering midseason. Plant tall, erect. Branches fairly slender, stiff. Leaves long, medium- sized; leaflets ovate with numerous lobes, apex acuminate, upper surface smooth, yellowish green. Growth vigorous; flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1971. |
