Chen Xi. Crown form. Flowers 16cm x 7cm, at first light pinkish purple, later creamy yellow (55-C), usually some petals irregularly purple or pale purple; the outer petals 3-4-whorled, fairly large, entire and regular; the inner petals varied in size, wrinkled, purplish red basal blotches, stamens partly petaloid, pistils developed, petaloid, greenish coloured, floral discs white. Stalks fairly straight, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant fairly tall, erect. Branches slender, stiff. Leaves long, medium- sized, sparse; leaflets elliptic, acuminate at the apex. Growth medium, flowers many. Bred by Wangcheng Park, Luoyang in 1969.
