Bridal
Veil - an old variety released by Kelways, in England.
This is one of my father's old plants which I rescued after he
moved house - nearly 20 years ago. I did not know its name, and I
had assumed it to be an old French variety. It is more delicate in
colouring than many of the well known Lactifloras. I like it for
its appearance, and for its sentimental value - to me. It is
probably the first Peony I ever owned. |
