Wan Xia Yu Hui. Chrysanthemum form. Flowers 20cm x 5cm, purplish red (60-A); petals 8- whorled, the outer 2-3-whorls, large, toothed at the apex, the inner petals conspicuously smaller; stamens normal; pistils 5, floral discs purplish red. Stalks fairly long, stiff, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant tall, erect. Branches stout. Leaves long, small-sized; lateral leaflets ovate lanceolate, apex acute, upper surface yellowish green, slightly suffused with purple. Growth vigorous, flowers many; tolerant of spring frost. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1986. |
