HAKUOU-JISHI (Weißer Löwenkönig) Reines Weiß. Große Blüte in achtfacher Blüte. Hauptblütezeit. Die Kronblätter sind rund. Die Löwenmähne wird ebenfalls manchmal gebildet. Die Sorte wächst hoch und stark. Eine typische weiße Sorte.

Rivière (1995):

'Hakuoh jishi' "Weißer Löwe" Sorte japanischer Herkunft. Halbgefüllt, weiß, manchmal mit Petalen in der Mitte der Staubgefäße, ein echtes Wunderwerk mit weißen Fruchtknoten, hoch und kräftig.

HAKUJISHI A very beautiful Japanese tree peony with maroon flashes at the base of the petals. Seems to be more weaiher hardy than some of the Japanese types. White double.

HAKUOH JISHI "Lion Blanc". (Semi-double). Fleur blanc pur possédant quelquefois des pétales au centre des étamines. C'est réellement une merveille, qui, de plus, est vigoureuse.
