Wan Shi Sheng Se. Crown form. Flowers 17cm x 8cm, pale purple (64-D); the outer petals 2- whorled, entire and regular, stiff, suffused with purple at the base; the inner petals arranged regularly, apex pinkish purple; a few stamens small; pistils small. Stalks stout, pliable, flowers lateral. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, spreading. Branches fairly stout, soft. Leaves long, large-sized, fairly crowded; leaflets long ovate, acuminate at the apex, the margins curved upwards; upper surface deep green, conspicuously suffused with purple. Growth fairly vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1966. |
