Hong Ling. Crown form. Flowers 17cm x 7cm, red (52-C), the outer petals 2-whorled, large, entire and regular, with translucent streaks; the inner petals very small, crowded, thin, twisted, some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present; pistils small. Stalks short, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, spreading. Branches fairly stout. Leaves long, medium-sized; petiolules fairly long, slightly pliable, light red; leaflets long ovate, acuminate at the apex, pendulous, the margins ruffled, shallowly lobed, veins sunken conspicuously. Growth relatively weak, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1969. |
