WESTERNER (Bigger, 1942) - Jap. - Pink - Midseason. Height about 36". Fine upright growing plant with large flowers. The single row of large petals are medium pink surrounding a large center of very bright yellow staminodes. A very consistent bloomer. (Formerly seedling 61-37). Substance is extremely good. Bulletin 87 - catalogs.

Westerner' (USA Bigger 1942). Sehr schöne, einfache, rosa Schalenblüten mit verbänderten Staubblättern.

Westerner (Bigger 1942) L.  Japanese form; medium pink guard petals around a full center of yellow staminodes, good substance and mild fragrance.  Broad bush spreads, but stands well.  APS Gold Medal 1982.

WESTERNER Large, beautiful, light pink with large guard petals enclosing a bomb of yellow staminodes.

WESTERNER (Bigger 42) A large flower with medium pink petals opens to show large center of bright yellow stamenoides. Very good substance. Japanese form. Excellent foliage that emerges a lovely burgundy in the spring. GM 82 Midseason

Westerner A bowl of large pale pink guard petals is filled with a big centre of slim pale yellow petals. Borne on stiff upright stems, this is a free flowering variety
