(Japanese tree peony - Reddish-Purple Flowering group) Slightly redder than Hozan and Yatsukajishi. Medium size. Stigmas and sheath white. Late midseason. Leaflets retain the purplish red colour of the young foliage into summer. Vigorous.

Frank (1989)

'Yachiyo Tsubaki' (Ewige Kamelie) zeichnet sich durch korallenrote Jungtriebe aus. Die halb - bis vollgefüllten Blüten sind ebenfalls korallenrosa. Die gekräuselten Ränder der langen Petalen sind heller getönt.

Rivière (1995):

'Yachiyo Tsubaki' Unvergängliche Kamelie" Blüte halbgefüllt, rosa, mittelgroß, mit einwärts gebogenen Petalen. Mittelhohe aber kräftige Pflanze, im Sommer sehr schönes Laub.


Ariga (1993)

YACHIYO-TSUBAKI (Achttausendjahre-Kamelie) Hellkarminrot, etwas lachsgefärbt. Die Kronblätter sind schmal. Mittelgroße Blüte in achtfacher Blüte. Hauptblütezeit. Unter den Strauchpäonien ist sie als Schnittblume am besten geeignet.
