Dawn Glow (Saunders/Hollingsworth 1986) E.  Single; big ivory petals with lavender highlights; fragrant.  Young foliage emits clove-like fragrance in spring sun, often leading to subtle surprise in the early border.  Medium height, broad spreading but strong, with big leaflets, prominent in effect.  Distributed by Silvia Saunders (and successor growers) along with other unnamed third generation descendants under the group identity Silver Dawn F3.  Very fertile, this one used effectively by Roy Pehrson and Chris Laning.  Seed parent of our Dearest and Golden Wings and new prospects coming on.
