Zi Jin Pan. Crown form. Flowers 14cm x 6cm, deep purplish red (53-A), smooth; the outer petals 2-whorled, large, soft, with irregular teeth, dark purple basal blotches; the inner petals twisted, curved inward, some stamens grow among the petals; pistils normal or petaloid. Stalks stiff, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, erect. Branches slender, fairly stiff. Leaves long, small- sized, thin, stiff; leaflets long ovate, the margins curved upwards, apex pendulous, upper surface yellowish green, suffused with purple on the margins. Growth fairly vigorous, flowers many, leaves falling early. Classic variety. |
