Zi Xia Dian Jin. Crown form. Flowers 16cm x 7cm, purplish red (63-B); the outer petals 2- 3-whorled, usually toothed on the margins; the inner petals wrinkled, crowded, some petaloid filaments bearing anthers are present; pistils petaloid. Stalks relatively short, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches relatively stout. Leaves long, medium-sized; leaflets long ovate, acuminate at the apex, the margins curved upwards, terminal leaflets with long petiolules. Growth vigorous, flowers relatively few. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1967. |
